The success of any run/walk ultimately hinges on the quality of its volunteers.  The Hospice Dash needs volunteers.  If you would like to help out at the 2nd Annual Hospice Dash, being held on Sunday, November 23, 2104 at 1:00 pm, simply complete the required informtion below.  Please choose your top 3 choices as we may ask you to have more than 1 area of responsibility.  When the online volunteer form is complete, your information will be sent to the OHPCA and a coordinator will follow up with you.

Run/Dash Volunteer Postions and Descriptions

  •  Course Monitors-Assist with safely directing the runners and walkers throughout the course.  Monitors are placed in different locations throughout the course.
  • Set Up-Volunteers are needed to set up the site location the day of the run.  This includes setting up tables and chairs.
  • Food and Beverage: Volunteers are needed to set-up food table and help with distribution of water and food items for participants.
  • Clean UpVolunteers are need at the conclusion of the Run and Awards Presentation to help clean up and dispose of all trash.
  • Water Station:  Distrubute water to participants throughout course.
  • Information/Check in Booth:  Assist with checking in participants and providing information.
